Sheryll K Fox - Artist
Sheryll is a visual artist with a background in theatre. Principally a figurative artist she creates pieces which share wider themes expressed through figures and faces. Sheryll uses a mixture of abstract and graphic techniques to express the emotions of her characters, exploring with experimental techniques in acrylic paint and mixed media on wooden panels, canvas and paper.
She is delighted that two of her paintings have been selected this year for the prestigious juried exhibition 'ING Discerning Eye' at The Mall Galleries, London. The exhibition is on-line now until 31st December. She has also been busy with three commissions for the 'NHS Heroes' initiative and a Poppy painting project raising £470 for The Royal British Legion.
Sheryll also runs monthly painting lessons in acrylics for adults who are beginners or creatives who want to develop their painting skills. Young people do take part, often with a parent and families paint together. She offers ‘live’ support each month via Zoom and Facebook.
Sheryll will have original paintings, prints, DVDs and vouchers available this weekend at the SOS Art Market at MAMs Gallery and Eastcott Studios.
