Mel is a plein-air/studio painter of land/sea/sky-scapes and still life. She loves trying to capture that fleeting light, and interplay between colour and value.

Inspired by the wonder of her faith and the natural world, she mainly uses oils but enjoys the spontaneity of watercolour, pastel and gouache.
