Mel is a plein-air/studio painter of land/sea/sky-scapes and still life. She loves trying to capture that fleeting light, and interplay of colour and drama.

Inspired by her faith and the natural world, she mainly works in oils but also enjoys the spontaneity of watercolour, pastel and gouache.
