Mandy is a self-taught artist with a love of fine detail and tiny brushes, mainly using watercolour as her medium.

She enjoys painting subjects from the natural world such as birds, animals and flowers.

Mandy’s watercolour paintings start with a freehand drawing in pencil, before the paint is applied in gradual washes and the detail is added with tiny brushstrokes. She also paints using a combination of ink, watercolour powder pigments and metallic watercolours for a looser and more spontaneous approach.

Mandy’s original artwork, prints and greetings cards are on display in The Trinity Collective.
