I am a wool artist and shepherdess. Together with my flock of sheep, the plants that grow in the fields they graze in and a select few that grow in my little garden I create.
The process matters as much as the finished item. I prepare all my wool and dyes by hand forming a close connection with my materials as a result. Using ancient techniques combined with modern knowledge I create a variety of pieces from sculptures to tapestries.
Whilst the sheep will sadly not be able to be present at the studio, I will have lots of fleece in various stages of processing and will demonstrate dyeing, spinning, and weaving with them.
