Mary Mathews

From an early age I have been entranced by and drawn to coloured glass.

I first trained in stained glass but later moved into working with kiln formed glass which I love for its vibrance and fluidity as it melts to form the most amazing tactile shapes and colours.

I make a range of items for the home, garden and personal adornment. These range from simple window hangers and bowls to wall art for the home. For the garden I make a range of items from standing glass panels, large glass poppies and Dragonflies. For the person I make a range of jewellery.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and run classes particularly in the run up to the festive season.
