I am excited to be exhibiting as part of the Richard Jefferies Museum’s ‘Small Change’ season. Visitors will see an array of carefully observed drawings and mixed media work inspired by botanical subjects found in the UK's hedgerows, forests, fields and gardens.
I seek to capture and emphasise the colour, texture and shape of these subjects. I love the challenge each time I start a new drawing, from sinewy winter branches to lush spring leaves or summer meadow flowers and grasses.
I also run workshops helping others to draw through building confidence, teaching new skills and techniques and encouraging a personal exploration and enjoyment of drawing.
