Eastcott Studios

Jo McAree is an artist with wide ranging creative interests and a passion for ceramics and sculpture. Her work often takes inspiration from nature and the human figure. Jo has always enjoyed facilitating and supporting others on their creative journey.

Through Eastcott Studios, Jo seeks to provide accessible opportunities, sharing her artistic passions, bringing together artists and makers alongside individuals looking to explore and enjoy the arts in a safe, relaxed and supportive environment.

With separate studios for pottery, art, glass and stone, plus visiting artists exhibiting, demonstrating or offering workshops, Eastcott Studios has become a hub of creative activity. There is also a welcoming cafe gallery and covered courtyard for those simply wishing to soak up the atmosphere, relax and enjoy coffee and cake, or browse the latest art and ceramics for sale.

During Swindon Open Studios there will be Raku firing (each Sunday pm), pot throwing tasters (each Saturday pm, 'make and take' clay thumb pots or sculpting, pottery painting and stone carving tasters all of which you can watch or join in (please note there may be a fee for some activities).
