Cheryl Holland Willis – Printmaker
I have an HND in graphic design and was a designer for many years. Over more recent years I have discovered the world of printmaking, starting with lino printing and now specialise in drypoint, which is a form of intaglio printmaking where an image is drawn into a plate with a sharp point (similar to engraving).
Most of my work tends to be from nature of the surrounding area, from plants and animals, to landscapes. I will also be doing small demonstrations of the drypoint process in the cafe, where you are welcome to have a go.
Exhibiting with Lou Thompson Weather permitting, the roof terrace will be open for views across Old Town. Use the large car park at the venue, you can start your arts trail with us then leave your car there to avoid any parking issues.
